London 2012 : First Snow!

Okay, first of all, sorry for the very looong hiatus! I know, my last post was January?! I didn't even notice. I was just so busy (no, it's not a lame excuse. I really was!) with school, work, and moving in to a new house. So anyway, to make up for lost time, I am gonna give you a blow by blow update of our 14-day London trip!

So when we landed, it was snowing!!! We were so lucky because it was the first snowfall of the year! Not to mention, it hadn't snowed in London for quite some time already. It was also my first time in adult years to touch and feel snow!

Say hello to my parka!

You will see in my future blog entries that I did a lot of mix & match.
I opted to pack light so my suitcase will have a lot of room for shopping. I learned from my previous traveling mistakes. Packing light is really the way to go! ;)

P.S. Another reason why I haven't been blogging lately is because my closet is still under construction, so my clothes are still in boxes! It's so hard to get dressed. :( I'm hoping it will be done this month and I will let you in on my closet and shoe collection! ;)

Sweet Serenity

Before the break ends, I wanted to have one last hurrah. So, I went all the way to Sonya's Garden in Tagaytay to try her signature massage. All I can say is, it was worth the trip. Imagine being in a breezy room with open windows fronting the garden and having the most detailed massage ever. It is to die for.

I think I'm gonna make this a monthly ritual.

TRAVEL LIGHT in 2012!

One thing I learned in 2011 is not to carry baggage.
So this 2012, I'm travelling light and leaving all of 2011's baggage behind!
Try it and see how wonderful life is. :)

Spectacular view of fireworks all over the metro in our rooftop balcony!
It just made up for the fact that we didn't have time to buy fireworks!

This cute puppy (SumoSam) is afraid of them though!

SQUEEZE THE DAY!

When I saw the billboard of JAMBA JUICE along C5 that says "NOW BLENDING", I literally went there right away to grab a cup (or two!) of their fresh and yummy juices!

RAJO! x PARISIAN

"A girl's fashion addiction would probably be shoes." - Rajo Laurel

Yup, it's true! A girl can never have too many shoes. Any shoe addict would go gaga over a designer collaboration with an affordable brand or at least I would say that's what happened during the RAJO! x PARISIAN LAUNCH. It's about time this kind of collaboration happened.

Aren't they to die for?!

I love my SoFA girls!

Philippine Fashion Week

Fashion week wasn't just fashion shows, to me it was reuniting with one of my best friends. I'm so happy  that Nicky flew all the way to Manila for Fashion Week!! We got to watch 2 shows together -- the only ones I watched, bonded over good food, and did the sleepover tradition. I missed it!

{WHAT I WORE}

Since my style is girly x rocker (most of the time, if not changed by my mood), I decided to come in a feminine skirt and wedges and de-feminize it with a black corset and a leather jacket. I decided to wear my hair down that day, no curling or perming involved! That's my hair's natural waves right there, yo!

The very Divine Michael Cinco

The only show I went to this season...and it was worth it. Words cannot explain how divine the Michael Cinco show was. It wasn't just the extravagant and intricately beaded gowns, but it was the show that gives you goosebumps. It was something that went beyond Philippine Fashion week, it would have the same standing ovation in New York or Paris, I'm sure.

Scroll down and believe.
